Friday Music Line-Up

MINDTRIP : Headlining the Friday Night Music Line-Up...

Mindtrip is a hard rock band who is bound and determined to change the face of music, as we know it today. They have a mix of drive, musicianship and energy to charge up the music scene. Mindtrip takes the hard rock sound we all love and puts their spin on it with hard-driving riffs and rhythms paired with chorus hooks and melodies that will stick in your head after only one listen. Mindtrip’s Idea on writing music is they want to be the band you catch yourself humming the melody to without thinking about it. Not just another cookie cutter version of a rock band. “Mindtrip is not out for fans, but new friends’ music is a part of life. How you create your personal soundtrack is up to you”. The Alabama natives, achieves a new twist on rock, by adding heart, and making music real again. Five musicians not afraid to be set apart from the rest and merge the sounds of many Different influences and most of all there own personal creative visions. “Our goal every time is to make music that makes us feel like a kid again.

Branded X :

Branded X is the Original Rockapotamus Living in a Hipnoceros Industry.  Brought to life in 2004, Branded X has earned its share of battle scars and has shared the stage with some of the best bands Birmingham, Alabama has to offer.  Over the years and still running through the woods it has not only been their top priority to make real genuine music from the soul but to align themselves with diverse artists that express themselves with pure emotions and hearts on their sleeves and are determined to take Rock’ N’ Roll music back to the level it once was.  Each member adds his own formula to the mix to create a Southern-Rockin-Funkin-Metal- Rolling sound only heard from the under belly experimental side of the SOUTH!  This great formula includes: Brandon “Bonez” Morris on Vocals, Daniel “Double Barrell Darrell” on Guitar, Brett “Burt” Page on Bass, Dallas “Just’ In’ Time” Chamblee on Guitar and Dustin “Deez Nuts” Gorman on Drums and Percussion. These guys are determined to making this generation of Rock n Rollers rise up and be heard, starting their own scene and beginning a new chapter in Southern Rock’ N’ Roll.  Make sure to check out their MySpace and tell them thank you for rocking the house.

SLAVE TO THE DAY :

With a focus on balance, Slave To The Day pursues to musically represent the elements influential to our everyday lives.  These elements include the natural, the chemical, the cultural, the social, the artistic, the adverse, the paranormal, and the future. Just as DNA is the blueprint for life, these elements are the building blocks essential to their music.  Equally complexes are the intertwining of melodies, strong metal riffs, ambient illusions and natural accents.  These elements can be experienced in “mans everyday grind” or they can serve as an escape.  Slave To The Day calls Birmingham, Alabama their home.  A city tucked in the natural foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, haunted by Indian burial grounds and old steel mills, artistic and full of culture; this city faced and still faces great adversity, and longs for a better future.  These are the elements that whisper and inspire Slave To The Day.  With Ian Willicot (Drums), Adam Willicot (Guitar), Beau Brathwaite (Guitar), E (Bass) and Parker (Vocals) the big question you have to ask your self is.  Do they speak to you?
