At NAWF we believe in creating a place that is fun for everyone.  The NAWF team has put in a great deal of time and sweat equity into the success of this awesome festival and to add value to the events we have assembled some of the areas best artists to not only exhibit there art work but demonstrate their unique skills that produce wonderful examples of their work.  The NAWF crew has also dedicated members of the team to focus solely on crafts for the weekend.  So come out and support the cause and have some fun with us...

Elizabeth Jordan

 

 

 

Is a very talented artist from the Birmingham area.  Elizabeth’s work has been featured on the cover of New Orleans City Business Magazine, in Gambit Magazine, Lipstick Magazine, the Hale Boggs Federal Building, the Archdiocese of Birmingham, and many private collections.  At NAWF Elizabeth will be showcasing some of work as well as offering face painting.

    

 

EarthBorn Studios, Inc.

 

Earthborn Studios, Inc. is a certified member of the WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council). The women of Earthborn Studios infuse every piece of pottery with creativity, their love of life, and the joy of living in a beautiful world.

In 2006 Earthborn Studios, along with Larry Allen Pottery outgrew their existing workspace and expanded to a 20,000 sq. ft. workspace in Leeds, AL.  Under their partnership they formed Cahaba Clayworks, which offers diverse classes in ceramics.  They can be contacted at 205-702-7055.

James Hislope: CARICATURES

 

James Hislope is a 29 year old cartoonist living in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a laid back, fun-loving and charismatic guy that tries not to take anything too seriously, and tends to find the good in any situation. He believes it is always there if you look hard enough!  He has drawn comics for Marvel, Jay and Silent Bob, Loony Tunes and Sponge Bob Squarepants.  Not really but James said it does not cost anything to dream and who says he will not someday. James collaboration Blackout Drunk (MySpace and Website) has become very popular.  So popular that he is now drawing comics for Skunk Magazine and his second edition Black Skunk. Virginia College:  Center for Therapeutic Message

 

The Therapeutic Massage program gives you the physical and technical skills that are required by health care and personal service employers. You'll learn about a variety of massage techniques ranging from relaxation skills and stress management to Swedish massage and neuromuscular therapy.

At Virginia College's Center for Therapeutic Massage, you'll prepare to work in such places as rehabilitation clinics, fitness centers, medical offices, hospital departments, salons, chiropractic offices, and sports fitness establishments. You may even choose to open your own massage therapy business.
