 From Birmingham , take I-65 North apprx. 35 miles to the Hayden/Corner AL exit #284. Turn RIGHT towards Hayden off the exit onto AL Hwy 160 North toward the town of Locust Fork. Travel North on AL Hwy 160 for apprx. 16 miles to the AL Hwy 79 intersection. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 79 North. Travel apprx. 3-4 miles to the put-in bridge, and turn RIGHT immediately after the bridge into King's Bend campground area. There will be a NAWFest banner at the road.

 

 

From NASHVILLE, take I-65 South apprx. 157 miles to the Hayden/Corner exit #284 in Alabama. Turn RIGHT towards Hayden off the exit onto AL Hwy 160 North toward the town of Locust Fork. Travel North on AL Hwy 160 for apprx. 16 miles to the AL Hwy 79 intersection. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 79 North. Travel apprx. 8 miles to the put-in bridge, and turn RIGHT immediately after the bridge into King's Bend campground area. There will be a NAWFest banner at the road.

 

From CHATTANOOGA take I-59 South to the Attalla/Rainbow City exit #181 (apprx. 86 miles) just outside of Gadsden, Alabama. Turn LEFT off of the exit onto AL Hwy 77 North. Travel  apprx. 6 miles to the US Hwy 278 intersection. Turn LEFT onto US Hwy 278 West. Travel apprx. 16.5 miles to the AL Hwy 79 intersection. Turn LEFT onto AL Hwy 79 South. Travel apprx. 9.5 miles to the AL Hwy 231 intersection. Turn LEFT onto AL Hwy 231 South. Travel 1/2 mile to the entrance of King's Bend campground on the LEFT. There will be a NAWFest banner at the road. The put-in bridge is immediately passed the entrance to the campground. So, if you go across the river after about 9 miles on Hwy 231, then turn around.

 

From ATLANTA, take I-20 West apprx. 90 miles to the Oxford, AL exit #185. Turn RIGHT onto US Hwy 431 North. Travel apprx. 24 miles to Gadsden, AL. Continue through Gadsden until US Hwy 278 West VEERS LEFT. (US Hwy 431 & US Hwy 278 run concurrent through about half of Gadsden then they split.) When US Hwy 278 veers away from Hwy 431, take US Hwy 278 West to the LEFT. Travel on US Hwy 278 West from the split apprx. 17 miles to the AL Hwy 79 intersection. Turn LEFT onto AL Hwy 79 South. Travel apprx. 9.5 miles to the AL Hwy 231 intersection. Turn LEFT onto AL Hwy 231 South. Travel 1/2 mile to the entrance of King's Bend campground on the LEFT. There will be a NAWFest banner at the road. The put-in bridge is immediately passed the entrance to the campground. So, if you go across the river after about 9 miles on Hwy 231, then turn around.

 

From MEMPHIS, take US Hwy 78 East apprx. 107 miles to Tupelo, Mississippi. Continue to travel East on US Hwy 78 for approx. 38 miles to exit # 7 at Hamilton, AL. Turn onto US Hwy 278 East. Travel apprx. 92.5 miles to the AL Hwy 231 intersection. Turn RIGHT onto AL Hwy 231 South. Travel apprx. 12 miles South to the entrance of King's Bend campground on the LEFT. There will be a NAWFest banner at the road. The put-in bridge is immediately passed the entrance to the campground. So, if you go across the river after about 9 miles on Hwy 231, then turn around because you just passed us.
